Dr. Susan Angel
Dr. Susan Angel
Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, Dr. Angel basically has cheese running through her veins. She attended Marquette University earning undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish and stayed at MU (rah rah!) for dental school, too. Marquette gave Dr. Angel a phenomenal education AND a husband! She met Max Meinerz, who owns Honest Teeth Dentistry in Elm Grove, during undergrad and the two tackled dental school side by side. After graduation in 2013, Dr. Angel practiced general dentistry in Cudahy, WI seeing all the kids at a local family practice. Wanting to know more about pediatric dentistry, she moved out of Wisconsin (don’t worry .. it was only temporary!) to earn her specialty certificate and masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and serves on the board of the Waukesha County Dental Society, the Admissions Committee at Marquette Dental School, and the Marquette Dental Alumni Board (phew - that was a mouthful)! When not working on teeth or talking about teeth, Dr. Angel and her husband love to cook (well, Dr. Meinerz cooks and Dr. Angel eats), spend time with their families and friends and travel to faraway places (sometimes in sprinter vans with their pup in tow). Guatemala holds a special place in their hearts. They travel there each year with a group of fellow dentists to provide dental care to the underserved through a local nonprofit they helped found, United by PAT.

Dr. Renner was born in Wichita, Kansas. He is one of seven children … if that doesn’t say “future pediatric dentist,” I don’t know what does. He received a BS in Zoology from Washington State University, a DDS from Georgetown University and completed his pediatric dental training at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital (hooray for Wisconsin!). He has practiced pediatric dentistry in Waukesha County since 1979 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentists. He received his board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1988 and maintains fellow and diplomat status in the American Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Renner regularly volunteers at Waukesha County Dental Clinic, working with underserved families in Waukesha County. At some point during his busy career, he made time to meet his lovely wife (also a dentist!) and raise two sons, Paul (another dentist!) and Thomas. He loves to travel and hike the National Parks and will be climbing Mount Rainier next year.
